BHDDH is committed to servicing the community. This includes giving the community information they can use throughout their daily lives.

One of BHDDH's goals this year is to make sure people know more about their rights and how to protect them. To do this, the Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD) is launching a year-long campaign centered around human rights. This campaign is called the Your Life, Your Rights​ Program.

The Your Life, Your Rights​ Program will give people information about what their rights are in different situations. Each month in 2024 will focus on a different topic.

Program topics include:

Everyone deserves to have basic human rights. Learning about human rights is the first step to protecting them.
